I missed the party!!!
Hope everyone is doing well! It was great blogging with you all!!! Cheers!!! DJCandyrocker! BTW, is the new name really gonna be Rockstar:Supernova? Oh ok, that is a name that will last for centuries...snooze, how forgettable! Maybe Lucas was not the real winner? I feel bad for him now. Oh well, we'll see.  Did you notice?
They BLEW IT! The rockstar/survivor spoiler!!! What the hell... Don't you think that if they just wanted to use the song that Lucas would not have been splashed all over it! I knew it FOR sure at that moment. What dumbasses!!! And then HOW scripted was it when Brooke said to Lucas "What are you feeling right now" and he goes " I am feeling this..." or whatever. LAME! Was Gilby the one who wanted Dilana...haha they are doing a "side project"...haha AND WHERE WERE THE ROCKERS FROM THE WHOLE SEASON!!! You would think they would have come out! I know they were there! Uuuugh! OK, I will write more later...just a bit irritated at the moment. Need to think this through. Last peformance night thoughts...
What a great show!!! I wish the band didn't critique this show...it annoyed me. Like Dave said, Sit back and watch the rock show! It was just that. It was sooo funny to see Paula Abdul in the stands. Dave gave her a subtle burn, but major truth...how refreshing it is to see true talent writing their own songs! I cheered! Even though I love AI...guilty pleasure. I am a rocker at heart and it warms my heart to see such talent...rockers who have put their blood, sweat and tears out there. Makes me proud. We need to support the unsigned and talented! I was so nervous for Dilana's 'Roxanne,'that she said she could do better than Chris. So cocky, I thought, she better bring it!... But I have to admit, i was pretty blown away. Not digging 'Supersoul' though. LOVE Toby's original. He was soooo fun and entertaining to watch. LOVED when he wrote EVS on Magni's head! Magni, poor sweet Magni. He won't win for sure, but what a nice guy. I wish him the best! AND Lucas...it was a great performance. Some of his singing style drives me crazy, but I thought he did a fantastic job. Loved the eye makeup! I want to rock it! Who wins? Who knows? Cheers! So many questions...
Hmmmm... Could Lucas really be the winner? Did they really pick him from the start? Will there be a "shocker" and someone other than Lucas will win...therefore creating more buzz? will there be two lead singers? Since the band has their particular favorites supposidly... Why are there 4 rockers in the finale? Will it be up to the voting, or the band who wins? Did anyone else find it odd that Ryan got the encore...since Burnett has taken him under his wing? Suspicious! haha Jsut having a lil fun! I knew it!
I knew they would let Storm go. It was as if she knew. The band looked so sad when she was singing. Her tears, such an emotional performance. It moved me. Got myself a bit misty eyed. I told Tim, I wonder if this is for her mom. Then she says that it was for her...at that point I was no good. Dilana seems tired...not physically, but emotionally. I feel for her. This has been quite a trip for her. I still think Lucas looks to young for these gents. He will probably win. Magni is missing something. A certain gritty, dirty rocker bit. He is pretty clean cut. Toby would be great...such a party...and I do believe they would have a hit single with his song... Can't wait for the finale!!! But how sad I will be...What are we gonna critique? Dancing with the Stars? Duets? Ahhh!!! Cheers! Don't know about you, but...
Storm's song is a damn hit! I would buy it! It was cool Dave played with her. She has a star quality about her. Hated Lucas version of Livin on a Prayer...gibberish...he makes up his own words that are mushy and weird...Does anyone else notice this? It was very hard to understand. I thought for sure jolly Jason would have pointed it out. They loved him though. We'll see. I was digging Toby's original too. Very catchy and enertaining. I think these guys would have a blast if he was the front man. Magni...such a nice gent. He is solid, but I was not excited about his performance. He is a damn nice guy..and he made me laugh when he answered back to Tommy. Dilana, Dilana, Dilana~ WHAT are you doing girl? Who findsa shovel and digs their own grave like that? I am not fond of her lyrical skills, I am sad to say. She seems like she has so much depth and she ends up writing what we may percieve as cool...but in reality, if she did dig deep, she would find lyrics from her core, her soul.
