ROCKSTAR is OVER...Lukas Rossi is the ONE!
ROCKSTAR FINALE! Dave Nivaro said, "It's been a Hell of a Summer!" I couldn't agree more. It's been so much FUN this season!! These contestants were a blast! Okay, down to business as if we all 'need' a re-cap but that's what I do. I re-cap. But you know what? I'm gonna keep it really short, because it's over. The show is over. Magni needed to go home. He's got his wife and child. He'll be a huge, successful star in IceLand! Dilana sang her butt off tonight and she sounded amazing. She was doing something really wild with her voice and I loved it! I just hope Lukas is happy with what happened. I know he wanted to win this thing really badly. Anyway, needless to say, I knew all along that LUKAS ROSSI was the ONE!!!! It was really NO CONTEST at all. ROCK ON LUkas and Tommy, Jason and gorgeous Gilby Clark. Thanks for a great summer of ROCK and ROLL!!!! Thank you all who left comments on my blog. Hello people, I'm back. I'm sorry I didn't write a blog after the last elimation night, but I was so distraught that hot girl, Storm Large, was voted off. I totally didn't see that coming and it just took some adjusting to. I have to say, it was mistake because I liked her original a lot more than I do Magni's angry metal version or whatever that song is. After the recap of the experiences, ups and downs, of the four remaining rockers, Toby opens the show. Of course he's the handsome Aussie and it's nice to see him perform. He's fun to watch and we all love his original, but is he right for Super Nova. Perhaps not. Lukas Rossi, in full beautiful glam make-up (doesn't he always look fabulous?), gives us a beautifully moving performance of Dave's favorite Radiohead song. One of my favs too. Followed by an acoustic version of his original song "Head Spin". I just hope that Bill was able to finally understand the words to the song. I think that Lukas sang it especially for him. The public speaks and results occur. Dilana was next. And Oh is she ever Back from the Darkness that she was in! Her confidence has returned, she looked beautiful and she's kickin' ass again. She's in the 'no fear' mode and it's fabulous to see her there. Her cover of "Roxanne" rocked and she controlled that song from the beginning to the end. Loved seeing the guys sing backup for her and then her calling them her 'boyfriends', that was classic!!! Then her original, which I'm not such a fan of because to me it sounds very angry and in your face, but then when she went back to the 'dark section' of the audience and sang to special guest, Paula Abdul, and then to the boyz of SuperNova. I thought that rocked and showed her true confidence. It's her competition to loose. Sure, she had a set back but she's still a contender!!! Magni closed the show with his Kareoke Showmanship. I'm sorry, I don't mean to be anti-Magni but that boy needs to go home to his wife and child. He's got a lot of penned up anger in him and it can only mean trouble. Not to mention, it's not very pleasant on the ears. I'm not into Metal Head music! And that vein in the side of his head scares me. I am very sad that tomorrow is the last show. I will miss these people and I will hope to be friends with them like I am some of the old rockstar crew! Next year, I might just have to submit myself again. Yes...that's right...I sent them an audition tape but they didn't take me. If I'm ever on the show, I'll be a combo of Storm and Dilana! Lukas is the WINNER!!!! Dilana will be fine!!! What the HECK as happenend to Dilana??? She opened the show with the Who's classic, "Nobody knows what it's like".... to be Dilana. Dilana sounded okay on her first song although it was weird that she was carried out to the stool like that. It was really strange. So she's rocking out while glued to the stool. But then when she transitions into her "ORIGINAL" which Magni was next with "Inside the USSR"....how boring. Someone said he sounded like the perfect Kareoke singer and I can totally see that. They said he always sounds like the original singer. He can sound like anybody and everybody. Magni's original song wasn't really rockin' the crowd too much. His song also was verging on Metal at times. To be honest with you, I'm sure some of these guys are like, let's just get through this competition. Give it to Lukas and let's call it a day. But the truth is that those boys of SuperNova may be getting burnt out now but just wait till they get in the studio and then start touring. It's not gonna be an easy gig, none the less, I would still love to see a show!!! Storm performed "SUFFRAGETTE CITY" which is a hard song for a girl. The range is so deep. Dave Navarro was playing electric g. on the song and Storm was interacting with him brilliantly. At times, she made Dave her bitch. Dave said it was like performing with a huge rockstar. Lukas was next. He performed Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer" with just him and an electric g. on stage. I was okay, kind of mellow but I think he was trying to show the guys of SuperNova that he could be emotional. Then with his Original which was about his mother...you could feel that he loves his mom and there's history there. It was very artistically cool. I'm sure I'll get ragged on for that but Lukas is still in the running. Gilby Clark said that Lukas's performance always inspire him. He inspires me too. Lastly we have hot and sexy Toby. He performed "Mr. Bright Side" from the Killers, but let's remember that Marty Casey did that song last season and slayed it. No one sings that song like Marty. You can't even compare!!! And when Dave said that "EVS" wasn't just an Australian saying anymore, I couldn't agree more. I know I use it!!! The Plot Thickens! Magni is leaving us tomorrow. Top 3: Thanks for reading! The shows just get wilder and crazy. This group of vandals have proven to become the "Wild Bunch of Rockers". Magni called Dave Navaro out for interrupting him and Dave dissed him with "This is MY show!" Wow Dave, it's okay...! It's almost over babe! I gotta say that Storm is fantastic and fabulous because of her awesome attitude. She wanted to be voted in the bottom 3. Dilana seems to be friends with everyone again, which is good. It seems like she's always placed next to Lukas and away from Storm. Mmm, I wonder why. Could it be because Storm can keep her hands off of Dilana? Yicks, ladies....get a room! Lukas, with his amazing performance with SuperNova proved that he is the ONLY ONE FOR THE JOB!!!! If they didn't know it before, they know it now!!! And believe me all the contestants know it too...that's why the show was so INSANE tonight!!! It's over. If anyone else fronts that band, I'll be shocked! Lukas's performance was INSANE!! Lukas's passion is so evident. He wants this more than anyone and he deserves it because he's been consistently fabulous!! The SuperNova Original sounded to me like a hit that I could definitely hear on the radio. It was catchy. SuperNova knew that was a hit and that's why they let Lukas sing it tonight. Hot and Sexy TOBY gets the Encore tonight. And he's sizzling AGAIN! This time he gets down in the pits with the wild ladies and lets them touch him as he plowed through the rockin' out crowd! I thought it was really cool that he went back to the seats in the very back for those people to see him up close. That's a nice guy right there! He's a doll and when he goes back to Mel Bourne....when he's voted off for being too HOT...he'll be all "EVS!!!" and he'll go on to be the Okay...I hope I'm not the ONLY one who had a HUGE PROBLEM with Dilana's devil horns. That was a HUGE turn off for me. I didn't dig that at all and well, let's just say, the jury is out!! Ryan was the first bottom 3. He was not good at all tonight. He was screeching! It was awful and I'm so glad it turned out the way that it did. It was his time!!!! Storm performed 2nd and she ROCKED IT!!! SHe did "Helter Skelter", rocked it with no bra on and she was on fire! I even got turned on! I'm glad she's still there! She's dangerous!! Dilana, was out of her mind. She scared the S*** out of me. I think she scared the boyZ too. When Ryan said his speech to the boyz, he was such an ass! "I respect your decision and good luck and I'll be hanging out on the record charts!" Excuse me a**hole! Who do you think you are talking to? I've still got my money on LUKAS!!! I love this show and I will be very sad to see it end and what's sadder is that I can't be at a Live Taping because I can't get tickets....So can anyone help me with that???? Dear People, This was an incredible night of Drama and Realizations. Dilana snapped! She had a nervous breakdown on National Television due to Jamie White of Star 98.7 FM. I hope Jamie saw the mess she caused. And I'm not excusing that other man who was interviewing her on the couch in the middle of the yard. He was asking the same kind of rude questions. Dilana was SET UP for RATINGS!!!! Ooopps...did I say that? I know you all figured it out way before me but it's a real shocker when the best singer, besides Lukas, is throwing glasses around in a rage. I watched the televised version and the behind the scenes on the website. She was clearly set up. She fell into their trap and she cried and that's what they wanted. Now I just hope it doesn't hurt her in the long run. SuperNova may very well think she is mentally unable to endure the journey. You can't crack! Ever! Okay...maybe once...just this once. Lukas opens the show with his version of "LITHIUM" and my goodness....what a performance! I thought it was unfreaking believable! I absolutely loved the arrangement and when he slowed it way down in the beginning of Magni started his song off kind of on the boring side, until he went into that first rockin' part and the vein popped out of the side of his head. That poor boy is going to have an aneurism. He's giving it his all. He rocked it. I'm really glad his head is okay and that he had a great attitude about it. He really was sweet. Yeah! For nice people! Ryan, "the dark horse"....started off on the piano...many of you might have seen his 'U-Tube' footage of him being a very convincing "PIANO MAN" which is clearly what Ryan is. I gotta tell you, when he was standing on that beautiful piano that Paul plays every night and he's sliding across it...I was hoping beyond hope that he wasn't scratching that piano up with his jeans or anything. I don't think you should ever disrespect the beauty of a Piano. Doesn't he know how much work goes into making a piano? I don't like him now! He's not cut out to be a singer for SuperNova anyway....sorry Ryan! Storm, such a sweet friend to Dilana. I'm so glad she was there for her. She'd be the only girl in the house if it weren't for Storm and they've been so close. I really felt bad for Dilana. She didn't mean it. It's scary being on television and if you aren't used to it, you'll do whatever they tell you to do. Anyway, Storm's performance of yet another lame song for her...but she rocked it. I didn't think she could do it but she did and having gorgeous Toby be her back up singer, was a good call. Although he did steal the show... but it made the song more exciting. I love you Storm but I'm afraid your time may be upon us. Then your friend Dilana will be all by herself. Maybe you could keep in touch via "Text Messaging" ! But you gotta give her props for being a good spirit about being dissed on this show. She's become a character. Storm '"he actress". She should be an actress! I'll bet she'll have her own show in about 2 months. Um...could I play her little bitchy sister!? Toby followed with "Rebel Yell". Man, he's got some beautiful blue eyes. I gotta tell you that performance was so HOT!!! He was killing IT!!! Then when he pulled the hotties up on stage! Totally cool! Lucky biatches! He freakin' rocked it! Tommy wanted to bring the girls back to his dressing room. MMmmm. Bad boy! Then it was Ms. Dilana's turn. She sang "Mother, Mother!" A song that couldn't be any more right for her at this very point in time and she SLAYED it!!! She looked all ragged tonight and it was perfect for the HeadBanging Performance that she gave conveying feelings about her own Mother and all the stress and pressure she feels. I thought it was very appropriate. I loved when the boys of SuperNova rallied around Dilana. Dave said, "Let's move past it." Tommy said, "I'm the King of Mistakes." Dilana replied, "And I'm the Queen!" The boys have forgiven her little glitch. But has the public??? That is yet to be seen. At the end of the show, when they showed the bottom 3 so far....I was shocked that Lukas was on that list. I think it's just a fix so that we'll get to see him blow the roof off the joint tomorrow with another amazing performance!!! Thanks for reading. Rock on! Ryan Star May Already Be A Star !!!
