Attention iTunes Shoppers! Storm's "Ladylike" Single Now Available!

I'd provide one of those fancy it-will-open-iTunes-and-display-itself-for-you links, but—alas—I know not how.

What's up, people?!

I Hate "The Super Group"

The reasons are tenfold, but let's keep this abbreviated:

1. Simply put: Skunkboy. I mean, seriously.

2. "Be Yourself and Five Other Cliches," as sung by Lukas on the Super*** MySpace page, I'm sad to admit, is actually pretty goddamned catchy.

3. I don't want to admit that a Super**** song is catchy. Or good. Oh, did I just say good?

4. We will probably need to sit through the Panic Channel before seeing any of the rockstars perform before Super****.

5. Super**** probably won't change their name to Supershitballs.

In better, more positive news, folks, we will all be treated to fantastic new releases by Storm and Patrice (near future), and the hopefully then rest of the Final 4 at some point in time—but THAT'S the kicker. I want releases from Magni and Dilana NOW, but I can't get them. Supershitballs will come first, and that just seems wrong...so wrong.

Well, this certainly has been mighty fun. I will miss Blog World Crankiness (mine especially) and Blog World Forever-Positiveness. See you all back here in about 10 months.

Peace, friends.

Screw Saying Nothing! How About a Link To Buy Storm's "Ladylike"?

Well, For the First Time in a While, I Have Nothing To Say

Except that maybe the whole goddamned show is most definitely fixed.

You can't send Storm home before Lukas, or Magni, or even Toby. And you CERTAINLY can't send Storm home over the Great Hopping South African (who, last night, I kept waiting to pick up a small woman from the audience and place her into her front pouch).

There's really nothing to say. Storm has the stage presence, vocal talent, and good looks to front Supernova—no, to front ANY band (except for maybe Slipknot or, let's say, DOKKEN).

So, what happened last night makes absolutely no sense.

Moving on—

Magni looked good and sang well on the Supernova track last night. Big-time kudos to him. I couldn't have possibly been the only person, though, who could hear Dilana singing that song with absolutely no problem.

Lukas is falling apart. Vocally, visually, the whole nine yards. He is more attractive when he smiles, though, so I'll give him that. Otherwise, the kid is rubbish.

Toby—hm—well, you know I hate the guy. The way he looks: too clean, too contrived. The way he sings: too high, too annoying. The way he moves on the stage: too N'Sync, too many old rock n' roll cliches (megaphone, people on stage with him, etc.). But I think he may be something close to what Supernova wants.

I don't think Magni is "total package" enough for this band, although he is one hell of a frontman.

Dilana may still have a shot. Who'dathunkit? Not me—I pegged her as going home last night. But she gets chosen over Storm, to stand in the Final 4 even with an injury that seriously disables her stage performance. I think Supernova is trying to tell us something.

Thanks to TiVo, I only had to watch half of last night's show

1. Dilana—Watched painfully, possibly in more pain than her. Nodded when the question was asked, "If she can jump around like a lunatic, why did someone need to carry her out on to the stage?" Oh, Dilana—you are hurt and your time is up. Granted, I don't know much about torn-muscle injuries, but Supernova is not going to hire a stool-sitter.

2. Magni—This is Magni's first performance that left me feeling unimpressed and uninvolved. But the raging 'cicles in Iceland will save their boy.

3. Storm—Watched the whole thing! TWICE! Awesome performance by Storm, but I agree with BilLanta's assessment: Tara Sloan killed this song three times over compared to Storm's version.

4. Lukas—Heard 25 seconds (approx.) of "Living on a Prayer." Fast-forwarded. Heard 32 seconds of "Headspin." Fast-forwarded. WHY WERE YOU IN SECOND PLACE LAST NIGHT, LUKAS? WHY?! Where are my fellow conspiracy theorists on this??

5. Toby—(Fast-forward, fast-foward, fast-forward).

I voted for Storm for about 20 minutes last night, but I don't think I was capable of single-handedly saving her from the Bottom Three.

Anyway, here's my predictions:

Bottom Three: Dilana, Storm, Magni (should be Mr. Rossi)

Out: Dilana (she's an easy kill now that she's injured)

Can't wait for this show to be over so I can get my life back.
