Plus, you almost got the sense that Chris Pierson might just stick around for another week or so considering the outlandish and rude comments by Zayra Alvarez.
Unfortunately, however, Chris Pierson was sent home last night.
We caught up with Chris the day after the elimination show:
ReX: Yo man, how’s it going?
It’s cool.
ReX: Where are you right now?
I’m at a hotel in Hollywood.
ReX: So you get moved out from the Mansion asap, huh?
Yah. They pretty much ask everybody to clean up their stuff prior to the elimination show. Then, when they announce the bottom three for that night, your stuff is really packed up. Then, well, if you leave the show... Your last good-byes to the cast and crew is right then and there at the show.
ReX: Whoa. That’s hardcore. So you don’t get any ‘goodbye’ time with anyone?
No. Not really. It’s a bit of a drag. Not much though. I mean, I formed some good relationships in that house. So I wrote some goodbye letters to some folks.
ReX: Oh yah, like who?
Well. I roomed with Toby and Lukas. Plus, I got really close with Dilana.
ReX: Hmmm. So, I gotta ask... Are you in disbelief that Zayra is still in the Rock Star Supernova gig considering her lack of interest in Tommy, Gilby and Jason’s careers?
Honestly, everyone I’ve been talking with today has been saying that. Even people on the street are yelling out to me, “That chick sucks!”
It’s funny.
Zayra thought she was going home before the show. She was saying ‘her good-byes’ even before the show taped. I don’t know what the deal is with her.
It was almost as if she saw this whole thing simply as a self-promotional tool to get on tv. Ya know. In the end though, she talked some smack. Jason and the guys laughed it off. I have my doubts about some people in that house.
ReX: Interesting... Makes for some good tv, yah?
No doubt. You have to remember that Mark Burnett is paying some big bucks for this show. Ratings are at stake. The whole Rock Star Supernova thing is a unique mix of a game, a tv show and a talent search. Still though, she is sexy. And, you know, sometimes sex can sell. The production needs to maintain a certain show-iness about it.
ReX: Huh. Was there anything kinky in the house that you can tell me about? Like a Storm and Dilana lez fest?
[Laughing....] Nooooooooooooh. Everyone there has a girlfriend, boyfriend, husband, wife or fiance. Besides a boob popping out during a drunk night, there was none of that.
Except for Toby. If he took a shower, Toby may have been wanking it so we sprayed on some disinfectant.
ReX: [Laughing] Nice. In your opinion who is going to be the Rock Star Supernova?
I’d have to say Toby. Toby has the blend to be a stage presence and not overwhelm Tommy Lee with ego. Remember, this is the Tommy Lee Project. As for Lukas, I hope he doesn’t win it. That guy is just too talented to get into that band.
ReX: What was the last cd you bought?
I bought four yesterday. Tom York, Muse, Wolflover and King.
ReX: So, who do you think is going home next?
Song selection is going to be key. But, I think America is going to backlash against Zayra and boot her out.
