Height! Dilana is all of four feet, eleven inches tall. (Needless to say, Jill Gioia, ain't much taller.)
There are several other elements I could list that place Dilana in a similarity pool with the other rockers.
But, there is one thing that does differentiate Dilana from the rest... I believe.
It's her powerful abilitiy to recklessly abandon herself in her music.
This unstoppable abandonment is best seen in Dilana's live performances when you feel her and, most importantly, feel for her.
Whether she's standing frozen (Lithium) or headbanging (Zombie), the passion, the desire, the explosion, the calling out, the impact is always there. This controlled chaos makes you think, "Fuck yes! Go Dilana! Fuck yes! Rock! Dilana! Rock! Rock!"
That's when an authentic fist-pump arises. That's why you jump up and down with Dilana. That's why you vote for her. And, that's why she will last much longer in Rock Star Supernova than the likes of a Chris Pierson, a Dana Andrews, a Jenny Galt, a Josh Logan, a Ryan Star, a Patrice Pike.
I could go on. But, I'll stop there.
As I see it, Dilana Robichaux has several weeks before she will make a Bottom Three appearance. She's not going home for some time. And, thank god for that!
