ROCKSTAR QUESTION: IS DILANA SMARTER THAN WE THINK?

Rockstar Supernova Blogger Dives Into Dilana Psyche!
By Mudhoney, Rock Star Go Home Blogger (August 8, 2006)

Ok... So I started my first blog today with my opinions of the SuperHopefuls and thier versions of the SuperNova song..

Then I started a little tangent about Dilana, and then it hit me.. This girl could just be genius! And here's why..

WTF was Dilana thinking when she wrote her song?

Yikes!

Dilana was soooo thrilled with it, and was seemingly serious about it.

On the other hand, the SuperNovas and me (and probably just about everybody who watched it) thought, "Is she serious?" Writing about nasty boys, nasty girls, bring your lotion and your thong?

HUH!!!

WHAT THE FUCK?

Dilana was my fave, from the beginning, but her last two performances were unimpressionable to me. Maybe that's not the word, I'm starting to get bored of her voice. I know what to expect. It's that whole Janis Joplin meets Tina Turner thing she has, that's like a one note wonder.

But then again maybe Dilana's learning a thing or two from Zayra. Perhaps she knew this song she wrote was terrible and it was her game plan from the beginning. Could it be that she knows the SuperNovas keep Zayra around because while she has no clue, she's still creative and we all come back to she what she's up to next?

Maybe Dilana wants to put herself down low to come back with a bang? Maybe she's trying to give the others a false sense of security? Maybe she thinks she's too good for this band, and she's trying to knock herself out to engage other opportunities? Or maybe she just really sucks as a writer!!!

One thing I do know for sure, is that she's an evil woman for pushing "Creep" on Lukas. Knowing that his vocal range isn't quite up to par for that song (but I've got all the faith in the world that he will go a great job, or earn himself in the bottom 3 so that he can sing what he wants and kill it! ) . Dilana admitted that she knew he couldn't do it. She wants to see him fall. And she snickered.

I'm betting Dilana is VERY threatened by Lukas. And she'll do just about anything to keep him close to push him down. And I've got sooo much respect for Lukas for playing along.

If people are bored with Dilana that is one thing but to now switch their support over to Lukas because of this one failure blows my mind. I will add I never was interested in Lukas and even though he has many supporters they also have recognized he has been faltering most of the time. Now he becomes this so-called rock god because he finally got back on track. Well why can't people show the same mercy with Dilana who obviously until this week was considered a strong contender. Let me add I do not think Dilana was putting Lukas down with saying he should do "Creep". I think she respects him and just was telling him he needed to show the band he could do better. Editing and drama made it look worse than it was in my opinion.
