LIVE REPORT FROM CBS ROCK STAR SUPERNOVA STUDIO 36 IN HOLLYWOOD
(July 5, 2006)

For the male rockers, Lukas Rossi and Toby Rand simply "killed it" during the first, live performance recording of the anticipated, summer bonanza, Rock Star Supernova. Among all other male Supernova contestants, Lukas Rossi and Toby Rand are positioned for a possible encore when the first elimination show of Rockstar Supernova airs on CBS, Thursday night.

Interestingly enough, Lukas Rossi and Toby Rand used two completely different styles to command the stage and gain rockin' respect.

The surfer from Australia, Toby Rand, used an acoustic back-drop for the classic "Knockin On Heavens Door."

It was a phenomenal song choice given the pipes of Toby Rand.

Unlike Toby Rand, Lukas Rossi didn't need a bar stool to get the mood just right...

Lukas Rossi , the Toronto-based goth-looking rocker, poured energy all over CBS Studio 36 in Hollywood, California. That energy was channeled through Billy Idol's timeless cover, "Rebel Yell".

The black-haired, pasty-white-skinned singer, endorsed a punk-rock swagger and confidence as Lukas Rossi ignited the crowd with fist-pumps, great vocals and received "MORE, MORE, MORE" cheers from the crowd. Lukas Rossi received a standing ovation.

Tommy Lee's one word comment to Lukas Rossi? "ROCKSTAR!"

That was it. Goosebumps just shot up my leg as I remember that epic moment.
