BROOKE BURKE BIOGRAPHY

Brooke Burke was born September, 18, 1971, in Hartford, Connecticut, but was raised in Tucson, Arizona. With a blend of French, Irish, and Portuguese roots, Brooke Burke was "discovered" while accompanying a friend to a modeling agency.

Shortly after, she won an acting scholarship and headed to LA to study broadcast journalism.
In her spare time she worked as a model and posed for Frederick's of Hollywood catalogues.
After signing with prestigious model and talent agencies, Brooke Burke graced the covers of several magazines and appeared in a few commercials

Brooke Burke's big break occurred in 1997 when she landed the coveted spot as host of E! Entertainment Television's travel show Wild On. This led to a stint as a spokesperson for the Norwegian Cruise Line. In the meantime, she posed for Playboy in 2001, started her own swimwear line, and released her own swimsuit calendars in 2003 and 2004.
In 2004, the model was featured in the popular video game Need for Speed: Underground 2 playing Rachel Teller, a street-wise adrenaline junkie who runs an elite underground street racing circuit. Her "performance" resulted in a Spike TV Video Game Award for "best performance by a human-female." Burke has made guest appearances on TV shows such as Monk, Eve, The Bernie Mac Show and Less Than Perfect. In 2005, she hosted the reality series Rock Star: INXS with rock guitarist Dave Navarro. She has also been featured in the films Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, The Hazing, and Knuckle Sandwich.
Brooke has two daughters.
