Josh Logan, I like his voice, when he's doing the deeper sounding stuff. He fits more of that Pearl Jam type stuff. But maybe he'd just be better on his own. It honestly looks like he's just given up. Doesn't it?
For that matter, it looks like all but five Supernova Contestants people have given up.
Magni Ageirsson.. well... Magni's just there to be on tv. He's already getting home sick.
Ryan Star? He's not really even a contender, he's just a filler at this point. I doubt we'll hear anything about him, once this show is over - that is until he pops up on show's like VH1's Surreal Life, or some "where are they now" type show.
Yes, we don't know what Supernova wants, becuase they don't know what they want. And though it's rumoured that Lukas has already taken the spot, I still think that they could choose a woman.
I mean, if you watch the other shows, it's like they have to balance the outcome. Last time, it was a man, this time a woman, next time it will be someone of a different color, or someone gay.
So, now let's break down the female talent. (BTW, incase you missed it, Gilby Clarke made it very clear that he played with Heart, so maybe he's not opposed to female talent, maybe he just doesn't want his wife getting pissed off by the new chick singer humping his leg or his back ).
The only 2 females I think have a strong chance are Dilana and Storm Large. (Again, that doesn't mean that I dont think the others have talent, I'm just talking about this show... and I'll be the first one to pick Dana's album, and I want to see Patrice live when her band comes to L.A.)
But let's break down Dilana and Storm.
Dilana is TOO good for SuperNova. She's also very unique. Like Marty was last season. Though I was the first to say I hope if they chose a woman, it would be her, now I'm thinking, I hope she does her own thing. Either way, she's got a fan in, and I will look forward to anything she does.
That leaves Storm. I am actually starting to believe that Storm will be purrrrfect for this band. ( And this can change next performance if she starts molesting the mic stand again ). I FINALLY saw her as a rock n roll chick, and not someone desparate to have all eyes focused on her, by using sex to do it. I think she can handle the guys. And I think she'll bitch slap any of the Lee 3 who deserve it.
We'll see how things develop next week...
