3. Ryan—His performance had me laughing out loud. But after laughing, which was for only a short time admittedly, I stared at him in total shock. And not the good kind of shock. What the hell was he doing? Where the hell did he get that sweatshirt? How long before he goes home to New York and resumes making piano bar music?
4. Storm—Was it "smack the crap out of you?" Or was it "smack the crap out of your ass?" Christ. The more I hear her talk, the more she loses my vote. Girl can sing, though, but "We Are the Champions" isn't a completely rocking song, so Storm was easily outshined by many other rockers last night. Looking forward to next week when, hopefully, that "Anything, Anything" energy will return.
5. Zayra—Fuck it. Give the big prize to Zayra. Seriously, she knows how to put on a show. She can sing FANTASTICALLY, but by the next line she's already a little flat. I don't know. But hey—the more I see, the more I love.
6. Josh—Terrible. He was terrible! I'm sorry Josh fans, I'm sorry. HE WAS TERRIBLE. I don't know why the guys thought he did so well. I couldn't hear it at all, and I don't even like the song. He should stick with Sublime tracks, apparently, or maybe he, too, should just GO HOME.
7. Magni—Bravo! The encore is to you.
8. Patrice—Loved it. Patrice and Magni were the only two performers who tore the roof off the joint for me last night. Magni, more toned down but intense times 1,000. And Patrice, all vocal talent and CRAZY, killer energy coming off her song last night. She was amazing (okay—so I did use that word). They both were.
9. Lukas—Again, terrible. Lukas and Josh and Ryan—TERRIBLE! But the guys ate it up, so maybe it's one of those situations where you just had to be there. But Lukas, man, your vocals, man, were pretty weak, man. You will be in the final 2, and this pisses me off more than I'd care to admit.
10. Toby—No. No, no, no. You get lumped in with the Lukas, Josh, and Ryan group. Dude, what was with the megaphone and the Australian flag? It was like you showed up to audition one season too late. GO HOME.
Okay, it appears as though I'm going to have a bad day today. I will try to remedy this by rewatching Patrice's and Magni's performances.
PS. Gilby should pick the winner, and only Gilby.
PPS. Tommy needs medicine for ADHD. He makes me anxious.
PPPS. Does Jason even want to be there anymore? I think that, if I were him, I'd want to go home, too.
