The main focus seemed to be on Ryan who continously was interrupted by Lukas which in my opinion was rude on Lukas's part. We did see small snippets of Storm and Dilana writing their lyrics which obviously did not go well.
I was disappointed that we did not get to see the finished product of all the rockers but will comment on what we did see. Lukas has a gift writing lyrics I feel however I just do not like this guy as a singer. Ryan, in spite of the interruptions did pretty good with his take on the lyrics. Jill continues to scream to much and I honestly could not understand what she was singing again. Then we come to the failure of Dilana and this is where the fickle part comes in.
I am going to say I thought her song was awful however this woman has never failed to entertain me in her performances. She is riveting and I mainly continue to watch the show because of her. It truly amazes me that so many have now turned their back on her as a competitor. So what if she can not write songs, I personally do not give a rat's ass who writes the damn song as long as the performance delivers. Think of all the artists who have entertained us throughout the decades and many of them never wrote their own songs.
If people are bored with Dilana that is one thing but to now switch their support over to Lukas because of this one failure blows my mind. I will add I never was interested in Lukas and even though he has many supporters they also have recognized he has been faltering most of the time. Now he becomes this so-called rock god because he finally got back on track. Well why can't people show the same mercy with Dilana who obviously until this week was considered a strong contender. Let me add I do not think Dilana was putting Lukas down with saying he should do "Creep". I think she respects him and just was telling him he needed to show the band he could do better. Editing and drama made it look worse than it was in my opinion.
I do believe that the band has already chosen Lukas especially now because of this week's reality show portion but I also know I have no intention of supporting the band if Lukas does get the job. I am not being fickle because I never have cared for Lukas. To me he is not as impressive as the other men on the show. However, from the spoilers I have read that all the rockers do very well this week and I will give credit where credit is due even if Lukas does deliver.
